Empower Equine Therapy Center is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization which provides therapeutic riding, located in Mabelvale, AR, dedicated to improving the lives of individuals through equine-assisted therapy. Our organization is committed to providing equine therapy services to children, adults, active military and veterans who are dealing with a range of physical, mental, and emotional challenges.  We offer mounted and unmounted lessons in which an individual can improve communication, focus, self-esteem, self-awareness, confidence, and social well-being, while also strengthening motor skills and reducing anxiety.  

 

We believe that horses can provide a unique and effective form of therapy. Our trained and certified therapists work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate equine-assisted therapy techniques. By partnering with horses, clients can learn new coping skills, develop greater self-awareness, and build stronger connections with others. ​Interacting with horses can create a safe and non-judgmental environment, allowing individuals to to explore and express their emotions in a safe space; connecting with horses to better connect with themselves.

 

Equine therapy offers a unique and holistic approach to therapy that harnesses the power of the horse-human connection to support individuals in their personal growth, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
